eTrain.com Workgroups is an online training portal designed for corporations who need to provide their employees with corporate training courses in areas including management and technical skills. The courses offered are a mix of online courses and seminars held at physical locations.

This portal provides managers to ability to assign courses to their employees and track their progress. The goal of the portal is to reduce the cost while increasing the effeciency of training employees by making a majority of the seminar courses available online.

I was lead designer for the Workgroups team, working directly under the Marketing Director and worked with web programmers and graphic artists.

responsibilities:

• Laid the foundation for a web application projected to bring in US$ 3 million.
• Planned usability flow-charts to ensure efficient client navigation and easier development.
• Designed the look and feel dictated by client usability.
• Integrated front-end with ASP and SQL back-end.
