overview:

The Mars Navigator CD introduces basic astronomy and aerospace engineering by examining JPL's Mars Pathfinder and Mars Global Surveyor missions to Mars.

The content covers six major areas, including the solar system, stars, Mars, mission planning, traveling in space, and spacecraft design. At the end of each area is an interactive laboratory to help understand the topic being explored. Also included are databases on planets, rockets and past NASA missions and detailed interviews with JPL scientists, engineers, and employees.

• Developed Mars Navigator CD-ROM as an exploratory learning and marketing tool for NASA.
• Created the user interface, standardized the content format and graphical style.
