overview:

MSC.Nastran is the computer aided engineering (CAE) tool that provides the processing of models build either in MSC.Patran or other FEM tools.

Exploring MSC.Nastran (NAS120 CD) is an interactive multimedia CD-ROM that introduces the use of MSC.Nastran in conjunction with MSC.Patran to new users. This program will help engineers master the basic skills required to use MSC.Patran as a pre- and post-processor for MSC.Nastran in typical engineering analysis applications. Similar to the Exploring MSC.Patran CD, the concepts are presented in a series of 12 hands-on case studies, each of which demonstrates a major MSC.Nastran analysis approach.

responsibilities:

• Learnt the software with a steep learning curve in a very short amount of time.
• Similar to Exploring MSC.Patran , but dealing with a more complicated technical content. Content goes more in-depth into finite element concepts and analysis types.
• Wrote technical material for several cases used to highlight MSC.Nastran features.
• Integrated a complete set of course notes from the MSC.Nastran 120 class.
• Created 3D animations and menu movies to provide easy-to-follow instructions to the 12 cases used to cover the features in MSC.NASTRAN.
• Programmed user tracking feature which allows users to track their progress. It remembers which pages the users have been and which still need to be covered.
